it's not "junk". some of the stuff like that humidifier or space light or speaker are quite cool. Especially if you're on a budget and want a cool room. Also even if it lasts a year you absolutely got your moneys worth

You know what's crazy is that I've been watching for 3 years now and as soon as he does his proposal vid drisha has been in most videos like a regular when before she was none existent to us viewers, it's nice to see the people close to him including his editors in the videos alot it really adds to the vid.

tbh he shouldn't have included his partner and family into his videos. They can help him make the videos but he shouldn't have shown them. The internet is a terrible place and if he is ever in a controversy or something else his family will on target as well. That includes real life interactions. Some people are insane and have no remorse. They abuse someone's family for the actions of the youtuber. That's a big price you have to pay for being popular on the internet. Temu is the reason temporary cards exist, the forced labour is a bit of an issue, but people haven't had issues with buying from Primark for years, so can't see Temu stopping how they do business when those precedents are set 🙄

I think you are actually right about Temu's business model. Which i think it's good that money goes straight to the manufacturer rather than the middle man. The middle man are usually the ones that make big profit and cutting out the middle person would greatly benefit the manufacturer and consumer. Because at least the $$ is going straight to the manufacturer. Thats why they can sell for low and that is why everytime i wanted to buy something under $30 it would let me know I can't because they can only afford to give you low prices due if the purchase volume is high. Their logistic is like Lazada Here in Asia, Temu is a selling platform, hence different sellers domestically, when a product is bought from a seller the seller bring the items to a designated pick-up location then Temu does the rest logistically. Look for example when you buy from a certain seller. all of the product sold from that seller is just one big pack or box.

Adding to the numerous forced labour claims against TEMU, I've found quite a few people that said that their credit card information got stolen after shopping there.

My mum and dad has bought a couple things, so has my grandparents, my grandparents money has been hacked but probably not from temu,

This confirms what I’ve found to be the case with Temu - On the whole, the quality of their items is a little better than you’re expecting, however they’re only about a third of their anticipated size. (The listings usually include measurements, but as the pictures are usually totally devoid of anything else but the product that my brain can use to (literally) put things in perspective, 12 mm is all but useless to me)

they don't vet merchants for use of forced labor. they haven't made a shred of effort to disclaim to the US they don't support or sell items out of the Xinjiang region, known for use of forced labor.

And the mirror for example was a flat out lie. Unless it's next to the tinies door on the planet

i got that exact same water fan and i returned it very soon after. its so easy to spill water into the fan itself and stopped working properly after the first day. the fan and water were weaker when on at the same time (i had plenty of power connected to it) and eventually it just stopped working. the seal on the lid does not work. leaks if you tilt it too much while carrying (from kitchen or something) so id def recommend using a cup with water to pour in like he did. still pretty ass

I think you need to put a pretty heavy duty warning on any video covering TEMU stuff, given that it's very clearly too good to be true. As with Wish, or even Amazon occasionally, the products may be an electrical safety or fire risk. I can't imagine their supply chains are well-audited for labour conditions or environmental sustainabilty, either.
